Wrekin Rush - June 2017


The Trustees of TAARC with friends and families went on a sponsored walk to the top of the Wrekin Hill followed by a picnic. Thanks to all for their financial support and to our 26 friends and families who braved the very warm weather (28 degrees Celsius) to the top of the hill and back down again

TAARC's Official Launch - July 2017


The official launch of Telford African & Afro-Caribbean Resource Centre, was well attended and had the pleasure of the former mayor of Wellington Mr. Leon Murray; Police Crime Commissioner Ambassador Sherrel Fikeis; published award winning poet Hannah Yaawusuah Adjepong; Chair of Telford Nigerian Association Mr. Mohammed Haruna and Mr. Chris Nyaaba from Kasapa Radio along with other friends and families.

Community Family Fun Day

July 2018



TAARC's Community Family Fun Day Event on the green of Hadley Learning Community School (HLC) in Hadley will be on Saturday 14th July 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm. The community will get to enjoy authentic Caribbean & African cuisines, bouncy castles, face painting, exhibitions, games, raffles - prizes, football tournaments, music, dance and more. We believe this event will bring communities together, break down barriers and educate people about different cultures, while celebrating the diversities in the local area.

Black History Month Event

In celebration of Black History Month and in partnership with Telford Carers Centre Young Carers, we are having an event celebrating Black cultures and contributions to society.
